Finally going to do our girly trip postponed from last year. I've never been. We've booked a tuk tuk tour but would love some ideas of must sees and restaurants.

Lisbon is one of my favourite cities - I’d say just plan some time to wander around on foot - it’s full of little streets going up and down hill with various view points and great for just strolling around and enjoying the atmosphere.

Number 12 circular tram. It takes in the sights of central Lisbon.

Time Out Market
LX Factory
Roof top terrace at Lumine for lunch and drinks
Don’t be afraid to use the scooters. They are a great way of getting around.
Iberostar hotel if you haven’t booked, walking distance from centre but beautiful pool for chilling out after site seeing

Time Out Market is great. Good food, very buzzy, lots of people watching.

There's a great cheap and cheerful restaurant called Bonjardim. Serves chicken and chips and rosé. Better than it sounds!

Get the tram to Belem and see Jeronimos Monastery and then after that walk a few metres to the home of pastel de nata, Pastéis de Belém.

When you're wandering around Lisbon you'll see little old ladies, and hole in the wall bars, selling shots of ginja (a cherry liqueur). Have a few of these!

Great city.
