Looking for recommendations please of all inclusive hotels here that you've enjoyed and think would suit primary age DCs. Price-wise it doesn't has to be bargain end, but unfortunately not the Princess Yazia end either! Some waterslides a bonus but not essential, but separate-ish sleeping rooms and an outside space eg balcony is. Thanks!

We have been to Playa Blanca this summer and stayed at the Rubicon Palace, it was stunning, it felt quite luxurious. It's a little way out of Playa Blanca but has a promenade running along the sea side of the hotel that leads into the town.

We have also been to the Rubicon Palace. While not bad there were some points which were not what I would expect.

Kids Club. There was one but I ne er saw anyone there. Ok. It was October half term, maybe it is more lively in Summer. There were lots of children around, so no idea what was going on.

Food, only junk after lunch, there is a coffee bar but cakes are not included in AI. I had hoped for a bit more variety. You have the right for dinner at the non-buffet restaurants but booking is difficult, we had to go via the concierge to get a table, the main two ones are not bad but quite repetitive.

You have to pay for pool towels.

We’ve been to Rubicon Palace and I loved it, our kids went to the kids club every day and really enjoyed it. We went just before Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food, we preferred the main buffet restaurant to the other restaurants.

Try the gran Castillo Tagoro - we go in 10 days and I've heard nothing but good things. Plus 11 pools and water slides for kids

We've been to the Lanzarote Princess a couple of times and really liked it.

We stayed at the THB Tropical island a few weeks ago, the pool was great as was the apartment and I'd say it falls under the category of 'absolutely fine if you're looking for a bit of a bargain.'
Unfortunately this year DH's work holidays fell into the absolute peak of the summer holiday prices this year, hence the Tropical island, but we went on a trip which picked up from lots of hotels and all of The H10's looked lovely with the Lanzarote Princess probably having the best location. We'd definitely go back to Playa Blanca and stay in a H10 next time.

I've stayed at all of those.

Any H10 will be decent - we preferred the Lanzarote Gardens of all of them.

We loved Sandos Papagayo when we took our baby. The beach at the hotel isn't brilliant but there is a stunning beach a ten minute walk away (bit of an adventure walk though)

We thought the food was good and really varied, same for drinks. I loved the room

Lots of pools etc and right in Playa Blanca

We really liked the Sandos Papagayo. We're not really beach people - prefer to swim in a pool, so the underwhelming beach wasn't an issue for us. There were several restaurants, we had a huge suite, which was great for us and our two kids, it was clean and tidy and it was a great base for exploring the island. It's a fair way out of the town centre though, so you do need a car, unless you're looking to fly and flop, in which case it would be fine.

Yes not right in Playa Blanca after all, I'm not sure why I thought that

It felt very close on transfer I suppose
