Disneyland and Paris

I'm planning a trip to Disneyland Paris in June for me and 2 DCs, 11 and 9..
A few questions!
Which is the better hotel of hotel Cheyenne and Hotel Santa Fe? They're both budget I think. Currently Sequoia lodge is also a good price but I'm not sure if it's "Disney" enough?
Does anyone have experience of the queues situation in June?
Also planning to go into Paris for the day. Any good recommendations for good playgrounds/parks centrally? Not really bois de bolounge etc as too big and far out... somewhere to kill an hour where I can look at beautiful architecture while the kids have a run round in between visiting Eiffel Tower and Sacre Couer?
Thanks!

I’ve stayed in both, but Cheyenne was having some work done whilst we were there and the restaurant was closed, so I don’t know what it was like to eat in.

Rooms in both were fine - two double beds and a basic but fine bathroom. Santa Fe is Cars themed, with sectioned named after the characters, traffic cone lamps, that sort of thing. Cheyenne is Toy Story themed, with a cow print bedspread and wallpaper with Woody on it. The kids loved both rooms and were super excited at all the little themed touches.

Santa Fe’s restaurant was crazy at breakfast time - packed and nowhere to sit. After the first morning I sent in my husband to grab a handful of croissants for us to eat in the park. If you have a food deal you can eat in the parks though, although the queues are quite long. The restaurant in the evening was fine but expensive (but they all are) - a Tex Mex style buffet.

Cheyenne’s communal areas felt a bit nicer, and the rooms less sprawled out, but there wasn’t much in it. Both have free shuttle buses which are quick and plentiful.

I don’t know central Paris v well but there’s a playground at the bottom of the Champs Elysee at the front of the Louvre.

Our very first visit to Disney we stayed at the Hotel Santa Fe. Since then we have stayed in the Cheyenne several times. We went back to Santa Fe in Feb last year and did not enjoy staying there. Much prefer the surroundings and the atmosphere in the Cheyenne. The kid's loved sleeping in the bunk beds and loved the cowboy theme. The outside area is much nicer at the Cheyenne in my opinion than at the Santa Fe. Going for breakfast I love the cowboy theme and found Santa Fe to be quite bland. Go on youtube and look at peoples videos showing the rooms and the hotels you might get a better idea. The cheyenne is a little closer to the parks when walking which is good when shattered after a day in the park. Just make sure you get a 7am breakfast slot.

Thanks both for the tips..! I had a look on YouTube as suggested and the breakfast times look mental! Now considering sequoia lodge 😬

Cheyenne’s definitely nicer than Santa Fe but Sequoia’s definitely nicer than Cheyenne! Depends on your budget really, if you can afford Sequoia i’d do it but if you can’t justify the expense then just go for Santa Fe.
SF and C both have similar sized bedrooms and are about the same distance from the parks. If you are in one of the furthest buildings it can be a bit of s cold walk to the restaurant, reception etc. Cowboy theme in C a bit nicer imo. Both v busy and sometimes have large tour groups of children.
Seq has a really cosy theme, less basic decor, nicer restaurants, overlooks lake, short walk to Disney village and parks, lots of rooms are in the main building. But this is why it is usually quite a bit more expensive.

Stayed in sequoia in Dec, communal areas are nice but the rooms are tired. Good location though.
