Self catering resorts with kids clubs

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations? Our kids are 5 and into organised activities so if there is a kids club on site we often stike a happy balance between time at the kids club and time as a family exploring or swimming etc

We have done Martinhal, Country Kids, a place in Lazarote and a smaller Simpsons resort in Greece. Any more recommendations?

The self catering bit is key as they are early risers and early to bed so we want to be able to have a meal in the apartment after they have gone to bed.

Have you thought about Eurocamp sites? The ones that they have a big presence on usually have their kids clubs and the others often have ones run by the campsite.

If you went for a decent sized caravan you'd have as much space as a self catering complex.

They do France, Spain, Croatia, Italy and others.

Thanks but DH doesn’t like camping I’m afraid (scars from endless camping trips as a kid). We prefer apartments with two bedrooms if possible.

Was going to suggest Eurocamp as well. It’s not all tents and it’s defi not the scarring camping of tents of our childhood even if it is under canvas.
We are just back from one in Rome and we had a 3 bedroom static it looked and felt like a small apartment. Fully kitted out kitchen own bathroom and air conditioning. Definitely worth a consideration if you’re looking for kids clubs they do ones for different age groups and sites are generally pretty good and well equipped.
The tents in Rome weren’t Eurocamp but they looked awesome. Proper beds, air con and lovely decking out front I was desperate to try one.

Thanks, I’ll have a look but it may be a real struggle with DH Grin

Any other suggestions?

I'm always looking for options - we do Martinhal and love it. I don't do self catering but like you, I like the option of a 2 bed villa not a hotel room. These 3 options I have collected from friends/school mums as possible other Martinhal style options:
Sani Resort Greece
Borgo egnazia italy
Villa María Canary Island

What's the name of the place in Lanzarote that you have stayed in?

Hi, Princessa Yaisa in Lanzarote - a two bed apartment with a very small kitchenette but good enough to make a quick pasta dish for the kids which is what they mostly eat. The hotel restaurants did room service and the kids club staff offered babysitting. Excellent kids club (kids are asking to go back because they loved the water balloons) and an indoor supervised soft play space. The hotel itself was lovely with lots of pools and near the beach. We had a great time there.

We have done two of the four Martinhal hotels and really rated them.

Thanks for the tips, will have a look!

Ooh thank you for the Lanzarote place. I've added it to my recommended holiday places note!
