We are looking to book a hotel spa break in Bath for our 10th wedding anniversary. Could anyone who knows Bath tell me which hotel is best, the Bath Priory, Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa or The Gainsborough. We are most interested in the Spa and closeness the city centre and a good dining experience.

Many thanks in advance

Hi, the priory is lovely but a bit out of town, Royal crescent is fabulous, a walk from the thermae spa but has its own little spa (and amazing afternoon tea) sorry, know nothing about Gainsborough...

We stay at Bath Waterside Travelodge which is our little secret... It's the nicest Travelodge ever. Next to a mill pond and an easy walk into the centre along the river. Literally 2 mins walk from the station. I would stay there and then just walk in to Bath for a lovely meal out and lots of fun. But ding tell anyone about the Travelodge or it will get booked up. There are two Travelodges in Bath, Bath Central and Bath Waterside, and it's the Waterside one you need to book.

The Paradise Hotel is really lovely with beautiful rooms and it hits the spot between too big and impersonal and too small and poky
It's a five minute walk into the centre and there is parking in the area, which is a rarity in Bath. Been there twice, highlt recommend it!
