All I need is a good standard all inclusive hotel in Ibiza/Menorca or Majorca which isn't massively built up or hectic and is by a beach with somewhere to stroll to......budget isn't that small at no more than £2k for a week for two adults, child and baby. I literally have ruled them all out......anyone willing to point me the right direction??

Not sure about AI as we prefer SC, but have you looked at Cala Blanca area in Menorca?

Santo Tomas in Menorca. Absolutely perfect for family holiday with pram.

We've stayed at the Mestral and Llebieg apartments. Don't be tempted to go AI though, it's not great, much better self catering.
Also the Hamilton Court Apartments But book these through TravelRepublic or Owners Direct or similar. Again, don't go HB - self catering much better and the apartments are huge!

There is also a Thomson Superfamily hotel which is mostly AI. We've never stayed there, but have used the pool and the bar etc.

How old are your children?

We stayed at Iberostar Albufera Playa in Playa do Muro, Majorca. It was lovely, next to the beach. You could walk out a long way in the sea and it was lovely and warm. There were lots of sun loungers, there didn;t seem to be the usual 6am scramble for beds and quite international client base, lots of French, Spanish and German holiday makers, but no one nationality dominated, we had lovely holiday there

My children will be 4.5 and just 1. I really like look of the Menstral but it says it is split over a road, which seems odd. I should have said we want/need to go all inclusive. Am about to look at these suggestions now....thanks

Tropic Garden Ibiza it's in Santa Eulalia and we would recommend it to anybody Smile

OP, it's just a quiet road that runs between the Mestral and the LLebeig side of the complex. Presumably as your older child is only 4.5 you won't be letting him/her out unaccompanied, so I wouldn't let the road put you off. I think Mestral and Llebeig apartments are a nice holiday destination for young children.

Dixit as others have said, it's a very quiet small road between Mestral and Llebeig.

They do AI there, it's just a bit limited. Only one restaurant and 2 pool bars for drinks, with set meal times. It's more like full board than AI.

Nice to see others recommend it too. Makes me want to go back Smile
