Hi could I get some advice from plp regarding peppa pig world. We would be travelling from Ireland so what hotel would be nice to stay in 2-3nights? Somwhere close to it ie walking distance. What else is to do in the area playgrounds, walks etc?
If anyone could help me out with links/names of hotels that would be super. 4yr old and baby, 2 adults.

Peppa Pig World at Paulton's Park is not really near any hotels, in fact the bus that goes there drops you outside the park so it is a fair walk just from the bus stop to the park entrance.

I live in Southampton and have got lots of friends who have gone to the park on the bus from the town centre (outside Asda) so you could stay in a hotel in the town and go on the bus. I think the bus from there takes about 45 mins.

My son has been to Peppa Pig World several times with his Uncle and loves it (he's now 7 and still wants to go again).

I'm afraid I don't know anything about the hotels, we have an ibis, a novotel, holiday inn and de veres which is the posh one. There is also a new Premier Inn, all these hotels are in the town centre so exploring the town (and shops) would be easy. There are some nicer hotels out int he New Forest, but I think these are quite a bit pricier and I don't know how easy it is to get from them to peppa Pig world if you were reliant on public transport.

Romsey rapids is meant to be a good swimming pool and that would be fairly close, no idea on hotels sorry but I guess it depends how much travelling you want to do while you're hear.

Chilworth Manor Hotel offer Peppa Pig packages - I don't know what that includes but might include travel to and from PPW. It's in the middle of no-where so you couldn't walk there.
Depending on how old your child is, you could get a good 2 days out of PPW and once you've paid to get in, you don't pay for anything else except food (we always take picnic but no good if you are in a hotel I guess).

There is Forest Lodge Hotel in Lyndhurag, but it's a taxi/car ride away.

We stayed there twice in a family room which had bunk beds for the DCs. It also has a swimming pool. It's on the edge of Lyndhurst but everything is walkable.

We stayed at a pub/inn right at the gates of PP World. It was really nice and had fantastic food (best risotto and fish and chips I've ever had). Don't know the name, but is one of the deal ones on the PP website.

There's also a Premier Inn right by Peppa Pig World, just a little further than the pub janpa mentions.

I wander where did you stayed in the end?! We are thinking of a two days holiday there and we need some accommodation. Since we are traveling by train, we are quite restricted... do u think is a good idea to book a hotel in Southampton, and maybe spend one day to Peppa and one on the beach?
Thanks
