Applying with grades in hand

What is the process to apply with grades in hand? Considering they have already left school and the school have to include the reference in the application? Who submit the application students or the school?

You go via UCAS as usual, unless the applicant qualifies as a "mature" student, but usually, they are living away from the family home and financially independent.

Because you put the contact information in for the referee they will get a direct email with a link to provide their reference. This is something you should have discussed with them prior to it happening, to check they are ok with it. They usually are fine, its just a case of politeness / warning.

My DD's school said they were totally happy to help with ucas for former students who may take a gap year or whatever. She applied with grades in hand and had a couple meetings with her former head of sixth form and they read her PS, made a couple of suggestions (one which she ignored as she just didn't agree with) and showed her their recommendation and asked if there was anything she unhappy with. She checked the form herself too and noticed an incorrect entry for one of her GCSE grades (which she had taken at a different school).
So your child's old school should help, more than just the reference I should think.
The one thing is they wanted her to do it earlier in the autumn so as not to interfere with trying to get current students applications in.

Daughter applied last year for this september. she had to do reference from the school.

You can choose whether to apply through the school with the buzzword (some schools are happy to support a gap year application) or independently in which case you put the email address of your referee in
