I'm stumped he's a second boy so we already have all the big things, bikes, scooter, and lots of hand me downs.

I need a range of ideas the ones he's given me a pretty random and he keeps changing his mind. And he has his 6th birthday soon too!

Well what is he into? I have a one who is just about to turn 6 and has just hugely got into Minecraft this year. He is asking for Minecraft Treasure X sets, a jewellry making set, gemstone dig set and Minecraft lego.

He is really into Lego in general. We have Playmags that are popular, he loves his microwave hottie, has asked for hoodie blanket. He uses a magna draw and an LCD drawing tablet thing quite a lot at the moment. Last year he got a Grafix science set that has been popular, and a Cars aquabeads set. Stomp rocket and kite from last year also used regularly.

He plays with his Dinos and lego people, doesn't so much build. Big brother loved building lego.

We have a wooden marble run, I was toying with the idea of Gavitrax but I think he might still be too young for it.

Stomp rocket and swing ball might not be bad ideas.

He's not really into drawing and crafts etc but would be good for him to develop the strength in his fingers, ie his handwriting isn't the best.

Another thing I've been toying with is the Nintendo Switch.

DS2 has Gravitrax but can’t really operate it at all without help.

What he would like…Ninjago Lego, board games (yet another Ticket to Ride expansion pack), a book about flags (don’t even ask) and notebooks and drawing paper.

We have a Switch and DS2 has a good selection of games he can play independently (but on the living room TV!)…he’s playing a lot of Minecraft in creative mode at the moment and most of the Lego games are good for that age.

@DelurkingAJ - I'll leave the Gavitrax for another year or so.

We have xbox & ps4 but it's the Mario and Pokemon games I was thinking about but I really don't know.

DSS is getting a Switch for Christmas. He got stomp rockets last year and they're played with regularly. He's massively into dinosaurs still, so a playmobil set and dinosaur play doh. Otherwise just family board games.

I have an almost 5yr old boy and also a 8.5yr old. I’m definitely stumped this year.

im debating a Nintendo switch for smallest, his brother got one for Christmas last year but youngest has really started showing an interest in it also and asked for one. I was thinking the lite version though since we have a full on switch already.

otherwise..
lego city police station
screwball scramble
mini air hockey
play figures that he is in to.. so he’s a Batman fan at the moment
