Chromebook for Christmas?

I'm thinking of getting a chromebook for DD for Christmas as she's almost 11 and I'm thinking it would be good for homework etc.

I don't want to spend too much so considering a reconditioned one. Has anyone had one? Any tips?

My boys have a cheap Acer one each from Curry's and they are brilliant. Can watch Netflix, do homework, type up essays. Was about £150 each

My husband has an Acer Chromebook, maybe he just has a rogue one, but some of the keys fall off (there's a little button underneath so still usable). It's very annoying when you don't notice and have to hunt for it.

Thanks, definitely worth waiting for Black Friday then.

The Acer. Comes in different colours. Really robust. Works very well. My DD and I both have one. She's 14 now and it does the job.

I got ours from very it was a black Friday deal and then 20% off for opening an account and taking out 0% finance on it. I just paid it all off in the first month.
