Unusual/rare girls names

I have looked all over the baby name threads already on here and still can't find one we like. Almost 30 weeks pregnant with baby girl and we just cannot agree on a name.
We both like more unusual names but not so unusual that it would sound silly or be spelt ridiculous if that makes sense. I want a pretty name, something that sounds lovely and sweet but not something you would hear very often.
I really want to name her before shes here so please help us choose a name that we can agree on. Thanks in advance!

Perdita was my first thought.

I’m in exactly the same position as you (apart from baby due in 4 days!) but you have exactly the same criteria as us and we would love to name her before she’s here too! I’ll be keeping a close eye on this thread!

My daughter is Serena-everyone loves it but no one in her school had the same name!

What sort of names do you like - classic, trendy, flowery, literary, nature etc?
Have you got any ‘nearly but not quite’s?

Just to help narrow it down a bit.

I have a Piper and a Harlow. I hated their names when their dad first suggested them but I'm so in love with them now.

BeeandG I’m glad it’s not just me, I know two people who named their girls before they were even born and didn’t get it as I changed DD’s name as soon as first saw her!

The most unusual ones I’ve come across are probably Hebe, Ixia, Manon, Nonie, Oriel, Seville, Thomasine and Wanda.
