Names for nickname "Rosa"

I came across a long name that could be shortened to "Rosa" the other day.... I'm really annoyed that I can't remember what it is, as I wanted to add it to our baby name list (it was the middle of the night and I meant to write it down but drifted off to sleep)!

It was along the lines of...

Rosalie
Rosamund
Rosabelle
Rosanna
Rosaline

Can anyone help me remember what it was?!

Rosary,

Rosanna?

This^^ is one of my favourite names and if we ever have another baby girl, I would want this name I think.

Rosalyn
Roslyn
Rosen
Rosanagh (fake Gaelic spelling of Rosanna but quite like it)

These less usual but I think everything else is covered above - unless no one said Rose yet?! Rosa is also a full name - just a Latinate version of Rose

I think the best versions are Rose, Rosa, Rosanna, Rosaria, Rosemary, do also quite like the quirkier Rosen.

I think the belle/lie/lia type endings are just too much added to Rose, and make it soppy rather than strong

Thanks everyone. I feel so frustrated, none of the variants mentioned ring a bell!

However, thinking about it, DH and I agree that we really love Rosa as it is. Onto the name list it goes... Smile
