Brushed cotton sheets

Putting this to the extensive knowledge of mumsnet as I've had a very unsuccessful time at the shops today.

Last winter I bought a grey brushed cotton flat sheet in ASDA. I now want to buy a brushed cotton flat sheet in cream/stone/beige. Has to be kingsize.
I cannot find such an item anywhere.
Won't buy from Amazon, but happy to consider anywhere else online. Max spend is £25
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

I saw some in both B&Ms and Primark a few weeks ago.

I did buy the B&M ones and ended up hating them, but I'm honestly not sure if that was because they were actually terrible or I just personally hate brushed cotton? I'd never tried them before and they seemed to feel really nice but as soon as I washed them and got into bed they felt too warm / not smooth enough. I'm not sure if that's normal though Grin.

Dunelm have one. I prefer the quality of JL brushed cotton, but they only have a grey brushed flat sheet

I'll have to look when I'm out later this week, somethin - didn't see any in B&M today when I was in there, and online seems to only offer fitted sheets. I want a nice cosy flat sheet to drape over me.

M&S? I just bought grey and green. They had a range of colours.

M&S seems like a worthwhile journey. My local one closed down a while ago, but I am out tomorrow so will have a look, thankyou, TooHot

Apparently happened to my parents on honeymoon. Dad had put his pj's on (nylon), and got into bed. The problem was the hotel had nylon bedsheets an he slid out again in a shower of crackles and sparks.

@thereisonlyoneofme ·

Well there should be 'sparks' on a honeymoon, but not of the nylon variety!!!

Def the M&S.
Currently 25% off online I think.

Nothing in M&S where I am. Looked in The Range, Sainsbury and local dunelm.
All have a small selection of fitted sheets. Local John Lewis has white only, fitted.

Suspect I shall have to trawl the Internet.
