Please!
I want one that has a removable basket so I can lift and dump chips etc out and I need to cook for a family of 4!
I am driving myself mad researching!

We have the cosori 5.5L here www.amazon.co.uk/COSORI-Electric-Temperature-Reminder-Function/dp/B07N8QY3YH?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
It's great, easy to use, easy to clean, takes up very little space. We've had it 3 months or so and I'm very happy with it.

Ninja foodie grill/air fryer

Also have the Cosori 5.5l. It's my first so nothing to compare it to but I love it. Didn't want to spend loads of a Ninja for it to gather dust like many other gadgets but I use it all the time. Price reasonable, easy to clean and love the presets. Won't be changing for a while.

Another Cosori owner here. It's very new but I am impressed!
Haven't had the big oven on since I bought it about 3 weeks ago and DH threw out his deep fat fryer.

I have the Ninja Foodi AF400UK 9.5L Dual-Zone Air Fryer, it's great, we hardly put the oven on now. Got in from John Lewis, it's got great reviews on there.

I have this one too. Got it a few months ago and haven’t switched the oven on since! Cooked full Sunday roast in it today

I had a Tower and loved it. Just needed to give it a shake every now and then. It died and my mum gave me her actifry (she's bought a Ninja) and I really can't get on with it as the food sits in the fat where as with the tower, the basket was wired so any excess dropped through.

Are any of these suitable for the dishwasher?

My Cosori goes in the dishwasher.

I’ve got the Ninja 14 in 1 and absolutely love it. You can lift the pot out. We normally use the crisper basket which you pull out to distribute food.

Ninja dual. I love that it has two baskets so I can do different things at the same time. I originally ordered the 9 in 1 but sent it back as I knew I wouldn’t use most of the settings.

Yep! The Proscenic I mentioned upthread & I'm sure most others. You can take the basket and drawer out and they go in the dishwasher.

My dad has a ninja but it's big, I don't want anything huge. How big is the Cosori? Glad you asked this op!

Report
TheBitterBoy · 25/07/2022 20:39

Footprint of the Cosori is 30cm x 30cm, its very compact, you need to allow a bit of space around it when in use, but otherwise I keep it tucked in a corner.

Ooh can I jump on!

We want one that has multiple drawers so we can try to do the whole meal in it, and with more functions than just frying - is there a model that stands out as far better for these requirements?

Ninja seem like the obvious choice but don't want to spend more just for the name if we don't have to!

Our Corsori arrived yesterday, love it except it's too small for 2 people. We got the 3.5l and you can't fit much in. We're exchanging it for the 5.5 I just hope it's not going to be huge!

I recently got a smaller one tham you want but its great. Can even fit a small chicken in it if squash it a bit. Teenager uses it all the time. These liners good too esp if cooking something messy. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304378063543
