Best pool / beach / holiday toys that can easily fit in a suitcase?

In the vague hope of getting away this Summer (not booked to go until end of August…)….

What pool / beach / holiday toys do people recommend that I can get easily into a suitcase?

DS is 11 and an only child. I encourage him to play with others, but depends whether the other kids are open to this…. So it is often me playing with him.

And any great things for restaurants too (we have Dobble, Uno and an iPad)

We got some sinkers, which we throw into the bottom of the pool and the children need to find them.

Yes, anything they can dive down to get in the pool is good and pretty small too.
