If you're looking to avoid a bulky, noisy appliance that takes up precious space in your home, the Pro Breeze Dehumidifier offers a compact, budget-friendly, and energy-efficient solution that perfectly fits the bill. Operating at a mere 34dB, it’s nice and quiet, making it an unintrusive addition to your home or office, especially for those of us working from home and wanting to avoid the clatter of a traditional compressor dehumidifier.
As its moisture extraction rate maxes out at 500ml per day, and its water tank holds just 1500ml, it's worth noting that this dehumidifier may not be suitable for tackling severe damp issues or larger rooms. However, it excels at managing moisture levels in smaller spaces, preventing mould growth, and absorbing condensation from washing or showers. It's the ideal choice for those living in smaller flats, wanting to tackle a problem area or experiencing early morning condensation woes.

How easy is the Pro Breeze 1500ml Portable Dehumidifier to set up and operate?
The dehumidifier was very straightforward to set up and use. I found it a spot, plugged it in and it was good to go. It just has an on/off switch, so there are no different modes or settings to fiddle with.

How effective is the dehumidifier?
Compared to a larger compressor dehumidifier, the Pro Breeze doesn’t collect much water. However, it’s not designed to deal with moisture on a large scale or in big spaces, so I set it to work next to a damp patch in my sitting room.
The dehumidifier did a good job of drawing condensation away from the mildew-prone spot next to the window. At just 1p per hour and with relatively low noise levels, it’s perfect to leave running.

What’s the Pro Breeze 1500ml Portable Dehumidifier like to use day-to-day?
The dehumidifier is small and light, with a handle and a long-ish flex, making it easy to move around and use in different spots around the house. The tank is easy to empty and replace once it’s full, and the use of a peltier system means it doesn’t affect the temperature of the room.
It’s not silent, but it’s certainly quieter than the larger dehumidifiers I’ve tested. The Pro Breeze uses peltier technology rather than a conventional compressor, which makes it markedly quieter - just 33 decibels.
This dehumidifier is best for small spaces, problem spots and keeping a lid on condensation when you’re drying washing indoors or having a shower.
Does the Pro Breeze 1500ml Portable Dehumidifier offer value for money?
At the time of writing, the Pro Breeze 1500 Portable Dehumidifier is on offer at £50, which is a great price. Its RRP is £70, which is still fair for a good quality small dehumidifier. However, if you’re looking to reduce moisture in a larger room or whole house, it’s worth spending £100+ on a larger capacity dehumidifier.
