July 20: LHP recalled from Triple-A Charlotte; RHP placed on 15-day injured list
Leasure is 0-2 with a 6.32 ERA , two saves, nine holds and 26 strikeouts over 31 1/3 innings in 33 relief appearances this season, his first in the Major Leagues. He felt good when throwing over the All-Star break, but didn't feel the same while throwing pregame Friday in Kansas City.

"Obviously dealing with some stuff all season long, but I have been able to manage it and work through it," Leasure said. "Yesterday came in, felt fine, went out to throw and just couldn't really get into the grind … feeling pain. So I let them know and worked from there."

Peralta is 2-1 with a 4.60 ERA and 29 strikeouts across 29 1/3 innings between Charlotte (14 games) and Triple-A Tacoma (12 games) in the Seattle organization. He also appeared in one game with the White Sox on June 9 vs. Boston. Peralta was reacquired by Chicago off waivers from the Mariners on May 26.

10-DAY/15-DAY INJURED LIST

RHP (right elbow inflammation, neck stiffness)
Expected return:
TBD
Clevinger won’t make his next scheduled rehab start for Triple-A Charlotte, which was set for July 23, White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said.

“Done for this start, but then we’ll reevaluate,” Grifol said.

Clevinger threw four innings of one-run ball in his previous start for Charlotte on July 14. He made his last start for the White Sox on May 23. (Last updated: July 22)

RHP (right shoulder impingement)
Expected return:
August
There had been no imaging done on Leasure's shoulder as of July 20, according to the reliever, while the club waits for the inflammation to subside.

"Take a couple days off, work on some stuff in the training room -- mostly some stability stuff. It's just inflammation, so try to get that to go down, but also working to stay healthy for the season," Leasure said. "Just trying to be cautious right now. I think in a couple days I'll be able to see exactly where I'm at and then go from there." (Last updated: July 20)

RHP (right shoulder strain)
Expected return:
August
The right-hander felt the issue diagnosed as a subscapular strain, according to Soroka, while pitching against Pittsburgh on July 14 and left the game after one-third of an inning. He is 0-10 on the season, but Soroka has a 3.45 ERA over 13 relief appearances, striking out 47 in 28 2/3 innings.

"Could be a couple days, a week," said Soroka on July 19 regarding how long he'll be shut down from throwing. "I don’t imagine it being too long, but [I want to] make sure we do everything we can to make sure it’s gone." (Last updated: July 20)

60-DAY INJURED LIST

3B (left adductor strain)
Expected return: TBD
Moncada has been experiencing “anticipated soreness” during his rehab stint, manager Pedro Grifol said. But Moncada does not seem comfortable with where he's at physically and his rehab as been put on pause for now. Grifol said it should not be viewed as a setback.

“Even though you’re healed, it still feels similar to what it felt like when it first happened, but it’s not,” Grifol said. “It’s almost like he wants to be sure that he’s got no pain. Anticipating stuff, that’s kind of what that last thing is, just anticipating soreness but we want to err on the side of caution.”

The switch-hitting third baseman has gone 8-for-15 over five games with the Arizona Complex League White Sox.

Moncada was running to first on a grounder on April 9 when he doubled over in pain, and had to be helped off the field. He was placed on the IL the next day. (Last updated: July 22)

RHP (right elbow inflammation)

Lambert visited Dr. Neal ElAttrache during Spring Training for a second opinion on his shoulder and was able to avoid surgery. He said something was there, but they had a program in place to try to treat it. He was placed on the 60-day IL on March 28 and began an injury rehab assignment with the Arizona Complex League White Sox on July 19. Lambert is expected to throw in another game in Arizona on July 23, manager Pedro Grifol said. (Last updated: July 22)

After being recalled from his rehab assignment due to a back strain on July 10, he is now ready to restart it. Foster is expected to throw in a game on July 23 with Triple-A Charlotte, manager Pedro Grifol said. (Last updated: July 22)

Stassi underwent a season-ending left hip surfacing procedure on June 7 at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
