Mission
The Kansas City Royals Foundation (formerly Royals Charities) uses the power of sport to improve the lives of Kansas Citians by supporting literacy and education efforts, promoting healthy and active communities, uplifting our military and veterans, and more. Since its inception in 2001, The Royals Foundation has donated more than $25 million in grants to hundreds of local nonprofits, including more than $8 million since 2021.

Healthy and Active Communities
Passionate about fostering healthy and active communities to create the conditions for increased physical activity and sharing the love of the game with the next generation, The Kansas City Royals Foundation supports efforts of local organizations that provide opportunities for youth to engage in, and develop healthy habits around, physical activity. Organizations focused on cultivating healthy and active communities in Kansas City students can apply for a grant.
In addition to funding programming, The Kansas City Royals Foundation’s Royalty Fields Grant Program empowers nonprofits and government entities across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Arkansas to renovate baseball and softball fields with a goal of increasing access to baseball and softball. Organizations interested in a baseball or softball field renovation project can apply for a Royalty Fields grant.
Military and Veterans
The Kansas City Royals Foundation proudly supports America's service members and their families. We support our heroes, both active and veterans, throughout the Kansas City Metro. We continue to live safely and have the privilege of playing the games we love because of the commitment of our service members. Organizations focused on supporting veterans and military families in Kansas City can apply for a grant.
Additionally, we accept nominations for deserving veteran or military service members making an impact in our community and honor them at one of our home games in our Salute to Service Seat, presented by Miller Lite.

You can get involved by giving back to the community by providing a donation, purchasing 50/50 raffle tickets, or registering for an event. All proceeds go to help fund The Kansas City Royals Foundation.
