Gogglebox stars who are considering stepping off the sofa be warned - once you quit, you can never return.
Show icon Sandra Martin claims there's no going back once you've said goodbye. She responded to fans online who demanded that she get back together with best mate Sandi Bogle, after they quit back in 2017.
But a big reunion won't be happening, even if she hinted that they were both up for it.
Sandra told her Instagram followers the bad news - even though she knows it would be ratings gold for Channel 4.
She said: “Apparently when you leave you can’t go back… but Channel 4 know me and my TV partner go back the ratings will go sky high. But unfortunately Channel 4 likes it like this.

“After Sandi left I miss her so much.. plus it was a contract show.. you can’t do certain shows like Big Brother if you on Gogglebox... anyway am happy. 5 yearz on sofa was good enough.”
Brixton ladies Sandi and Sandra were fan favourites from the off, and they starred on Gogglebox from series one together.
Sandra quit the series in 2017 – amid reports of an epic fallout between the show's golden girls.
Sandra has previously hinted Sandi’s thirst for fame drove a wedge between them – with the star telling Lorraine in 2018: “My partner Sandi is interested in that famous life.
“I haven't spoken to her in a while because she's very busy being a celebrity. Whereas as I’m busy doing my own little things. We're still best friends.
"She sent me a present for my birthday."
Sandra spoke previously about the perks of being on the programme.
She said: "The crew would buy me takeaway every night and they’d have takeaway too. We had all the menu leaflets - KFC, Burger King, Chinese, McDonald’s.
"We had a runner who gets everything we want, although we didn’t take the p**s, he was our friend. There was a camera man, a sound man, five people in total."
