Roy Keane was unmoved watching Jude Bellingham's last-gasp equaliser for England at Euro 2024.

The Real Madrid man spared English blushes as he produced a stunning overhead kick in the fifth minute of stoppage time to send their last-16 clash into extra-time. Harry Kane then headed home for the Three Lions to earn them stunning victory.

Keane was on punditry duty for ITV alongside Gary Neville and Ian Wright. The two Englishman celebrated wildly, ending up in each other's arms, as the Irishman stood by motionless watching his colleagues rejoice late on.

The ex-Manchester United skipper has been honest with his assessment of England at the Euros, where they've largely underwhelmed as Gareth Southgate faces calls for mass changes. Unlike Neville and Wright though he isn't emotionally invested and fans on social media found his lack of celebration thoroughly entertaining

One said: "Roy Keane: 'Why you celebrate? It's their job isn't it?' Legend!" Another joked: "I knew Roy Keane wouldn’t celebrate". A third weighed in: "Look at Roy Keane hahahaahha classic and I love it."

Keane also entertained fans at the last tournament, when he also worked for ITV. He was part of the punditry panel for England's knockout clash against Senegal and, after a goal, as his colleagues celebrated he went to his note pad to jot down some thoughts.

The Irishman has been critical of the English performance thus far, but admitted winning games is all that counts when it comes to knockout football. He was part of a Red Devils outfit that were outperformed in major games, but still came out on top as they claimed the trophy.

He said: "Sometimes after a game you reflect on it… you talk about performances, but at this level it is all about getting over the line and winning. Everyone wants a great performance, but they keep getting results.

"You might say the next game (against Switzerland) will be tougher and you say if they perform like they they are going to go our, but let’s see how they go. We were really critical at half-time, but they found a way to win. The top players stepped up. God help us when Bellingham starts playing well because he has produced two big moments. Again, you go back to it and they have found a way to win and they deserve credit for that.”
