The recent arrival of Bridgerton season three means more filming locations for fans to visit and a new study has revealed where the most Instagrammable filming locations are.

“Bridgerton showcases some of the country’s most beautiful historic buildings, which are clearly popular among tourists, those local to the spot, and fans of the show", Marc Porcar, CEO of QR Code Generator, said.

"This list of the most ‘Instagrammable’ destinations may inspire your next sight-seeing trip or help you discover where your favourite scenes are filmed in the show, with some being right on your doorstep perhaps.”

1. Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire

Blenheim Palace takes the crown as the most Instagrammable filming destination in Bridgerton season three, with an impressive 201,951 posts using the hashtag, #blenheimcastle. This Oxfordshire palace first appeared in Queen Charlotte as Buckingham House but will feature in Bridgerton for the first time this season.

The palace is often regarded as the finest example of truly Baroque architecture in Great Britain. Inside, the palace is also home to an extensive collection of portraits, furniture, sculpture and tapestries. Adult tickets cost £38 for access to the palace, park and gardens (including an annual pass).

2. Hampton Court Palace, Richmond

Closely following in second place is Hampton Court Palace in Richmond, with 181,786 posts featuring the hashtag #hamptoncourtpalace. The Palace has been used as a filming location throughout Bridgerton, with the locations manager, Tony Hood, describing the Palace as "very square, very neat, very Regency".

Dating back to the 16th century, Hampton Court was the favourite residence of King henry VIII and include 60 acres of gardens. Tickets cost £27.20 per adult.

3. Chiswick House, London

The third most Instagrammable Bridgerton filming location for season three is Chiswick House in West London, with 45,633 posts using the hashtag #chiswickhouse. The spectacular house and gardens feature in church and carriage shots in the new season.

Displaying beautiful 18th century British architecture, Chiswick House welcomes over one million visitors every year. Tickets cost £12.50 per adult and include a donation.

4. The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich

The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich ranks fourth, with 25,510 posts featuring its hashtag (#oldroyalnavalcollege). This World Heritage Site provides the setting for Mayfair Market and other shots during the Bridgerton story.

This iconic riverside estate has six centuries of history linking to monarchs and famous British figures. The Painted Hall is particularly popular among visitors and is often thought of as 'Britain's Sistine Chapel'. General admission costs £16.50 per adult, however, if you visit on the first day of the month is costs only £5.

5. Wrest Park, Bedfordshire

Fifth place went to Wrest Park, in Bedfordshire, with a total of 20,616 posts using its hashtag #wrestpark. Although already featuring in Bridgerton, Wrest Park will be the magnificent home to the Fuller family in season three.

Featuring an 18th century Bowling Green House and a striking Chinese Bridge and Temple, Wrest Park offers a stunning day out. The gardens also feature autumnal reds to lush greens in the summer. Booking in advance costs £16 per adult with a donation, or booking on the day costs £19 per adult with a donation.

6. Painshill Park, Surrey

Taking the sixth spot is Painshill Park in Surrey, with 20,002 posts using the hashtag #painshillpark. While this filming location served as the backdrop for a Featherington family picnic, it will reappear in the new season where new character Lord Hawkins will attempt to prove that flight is possible with hot air balloons…

Painshill Park is an 18th century landscape garden, complete with winding paths, scenic vistas and dramatically placed garden buildings. Booking in advance online costs £11 per adult, or it is £13.50 per adult on the day.

7. Luton Hoo Estate, Bedfordshire

With a total of 17,120 posts featuring its hashtag #lutonhoo, Luton Hoo Estate in Bedfordshire came in seventh. This stunning country estate appears throughout the show and for the upcoming season will provide the exterior of the printing press and Bridgerton family garden.

Luton Hoo Estate is vibrant and includes attractions such as the arable farm, solar farm, residential properties, commercial units, a unique Victorian farm and a number of fantastic event/celebration settings. The garden is open to visit on Wednesdays for £7.50 per adult.

8. Wilton House, Wiltshire

The eighth most Instagrammable spot in the third season goes to Wilton House in Wiltshire, with 13,568 posts. Located in Wiltshire, the country house has appeared plenty of times throughout Bridgerton. Golda Rosheuvel, who plays Queen Charlotte, has even said that Wilton is her favourite place to film and that “it feels like home”.

Wilton House was home to the 18th century Earl and Countess of Pembroke. Built on the site of a 9th century nunnery, the house is now set in 21 acres of parkland, including rose gardens. Admission to the house and grounds costs £18.50 per adult, but note — Wilton House is only open Sunday to Thursday each week.

9. Basildon Park, Berkshire

Basildon Park in Berkshire came in ninth with a total of 10,857 hashtagged posts on Instagram. The grand country house has previously appeared in Bridgerton as the Featherington’s family garden but will feature more in the upcoming season as the home of Lady Tilley Arnold – a brand-new character.

Basildon Park is a 18th-century Palladian-style mansion, restored by Lord and Lady Iliffe. It features a 400-acre park with four waymarked walks, World War Two Nissen Hut remains, historic trees and views of the house. Tickets cost £18.70 per adult.

10. Holburne Museum, Bath

Taking the final spot with 6,954 posts using its hashtag, is Holburne Museum in Bath. Bath is an iconic location in Bridgerton, with the Royal Crescent featuring throughout the seasons in carriage drive-bys, Penelope’s window and the exteriors of Mayfair. The Holburne Museum is the setting of Lady Danbury’s house and is due to reprise its role in the new season.

Originally built as the Sydney Hotel, crowds used to gather to ‘promenade’ and dine in the open air. Queen Charlotte herself stayed opposite the Sydney Hotel on Sydney Place when she came to Bath ‘to take the waters’ in 1817. General admission costs £12.50 per adult.

The study conducted by QR Code Generator, analysed Instagram data for the filming locations of the upcoming season of Bridgerton, to uncover which have been tagged the most on the platform by users. Instagram hashtag data was analysed to discover the most Instagrammable filming locations for the upcoming season of Bridgerton.
