This summer is already proving to be one of change as the likes of Liverpool, Juventus, Bayern Munich and Chelsea get new managers with the 2023/24 campaign still technically running.

But following the Champions League final this weekend the transfer rumour mill is set to get into full flow, with little time for pause in football. The work of clubs and agents may prove more difficult this summer with the arrival of Euro 2024 and the Copa America but it also allows more opportunities for meetings and scouting.

Kylian Mbappe's departure from PSG has been confirmed, with the French forward expected to join Real Madrid, while Napoli's Victor Osimhen is also said to be on the move. Arsenal are on the lookout for a forward but are perhaps more likely to target Benjamin Sesko, while Manchester United arrive at their first transfer window since Sir Jim Ratcliffe became a co-owner of the club.

Deals cannot yet be made however, and while discussions are probably underway for a number of prospective moves, none can be confirmed until the window opens. Mirror Football takes a look at when that is.

When does the transfer window open?

The Premier League transfer window will open on June 14. Clubs will only be able to complete domestic deals at this point however. International deals and free transfers will then be able to go through from July 1.

La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 all see their summer transfer window open on July 1. MLS will see it's secondary window open on July 18.

The Women's Super League transfer window will open June 24.

The WSL window will stay open until September 13.

When is the winter window?

The Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga and Ligue 1 will all see their winter window run from January 1 to February 3. Serie A will open a day later and close on February 1.
