Real Madrid have put a host of Premier League teams on red alert - with Brazilian winger Rodrygo potentially up for sale.

The Spanish side are set to add to their attacking options this summer with the addition of Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman is move to Spain in the summer on a free transfer once his Paris Saint-Germain contract expires.

His arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu leaves Carlo Ancelotti’s squad looking slightly bloated. Their wage bill will also increase rapidly, with Mbappe set to put pen to paper on an eye-watering deal.

In order to address that, Real Madrid are reportedly willing to cash-in on Rodrygo. According to Spanish outlet Sport, they want to receive around €100million (£86m) for his services.

While they are open to a sale, they are not yet entertaining offers just yet. There is interest in the Premier League from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Indeed, Rodrygo’s future with Real Madrid looks slightly uncertain. He has been linked with an exit in the past but claimed he was happy in Spain.

Speaking last year, the 23-year-old said: "I didn't get any offer from Saudi League. I'm not interested about Premier League rumours. To be honest I'm only thinking about playing for Real Madrid, nothing else. I love Real Madrid. It's all perfect here."

The former Santos star has over four years left to run on his deal with Real Madrid. He has scored 13 goals in all competitions this season but Carlo Ancelotti was forced to leap to his defence earlier this year for a perceived lack of goal threat.

The Italian said: "I've been taught that if you tell someone 'think of all the animals except the cat, you think of the cat'. He's playing and contributing. I'll never talk to him about the goals he doesn't score, ever. The important thing is that he contributes, as he is doing.”

While Real Madrid have a decision to make over the future of Rodrygo, they are still yet to formally announce Mbappe’s arrival. The French striker remained tight-lipped on his future on international duty.

"I haven't announced anything yet because I have nothing to announce ... I am sorry I have nothing to tell you," he said, before adding: "I think it will all be sorted out before the Euros."

Elsewhere, PSG boss Luis Enrique was silent when asked about an exit for his star forward. He said: "Mbappe to Real Madrid? I don't know, no one knows. Only Kylian knows. When all parties involved decide to share the truth and their decisions, we will be there to listen."
