Chelsea want to bring in two attacking signings - on top of Omari Kellyman - after withdrawing their interest in Michael Olise.

The Blues were exploring a big-money deal for the Frenchman, who they tried to land last August, before eventually deciding the total financial outlay of the package including transfer and agent fees plus wages was too steep.

Bayern Munich have since pounced and are set to land Olise in a deal worth up to £50million. However, Chelsea remain in the market for forward players and the arrivals of a new striker and winger are among the topics at the top of Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart's transfer agenda.

Interest in Spain starlet Nico Williams remains strong and while meeting his release clause, thought to be worth in the region of £50m, would not be an issue, there is still concern surrounding his salary and whether - like Olise - the overall package is financially viable.

Furthermore, Barcelona, Arsenal and Liverpool are also interested in the 21-year-old Athletic Bilbao attacker, who has ripped up Euro 2024 after helping his club win the Copa del Rey.

Meanwhile, it's understood the Blues have now walked away from the negotiating table for Samu Omorodion after seeing 'multiple' proposals rebuffed by Atletico Madrid for the Alaves loanee, according to Spanish sources.

Omorodion wants to prove himself under Diego Simeone and he is also expected to feature for Spain at the Olympic Games in France this summer, therefore it does not feel like the right time to switch clubs.

A swoop for Jhon Duran remains a possibility after fruitful talks took place with Aston Villa over the £19m signing of 18-year-old attacking midfielder Kellyman and the £37.5m sale of Ian Maatsen which is set to be completed in the coming days.

Maatsen has now spoken to Unai Emery about Villa's project and is thought to be sold on moving to the Midlands having initially hoped to seal a permanent transfer to Borussia Dortmund following a successful loan.

Duran remains desperate to join Chelsea and has asked his agent to engineer a move to Stamford Bridge but the Blues are yet to present a formal proposal for the Colombian - despite being given permission to discuss personal terms. Villa also remain interested in Conor Gallagher.

Armando Broja is set to leave the club and is wanted by Everton as Newcastle advance in talks to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Chelsea do also have several other attackers on their radar but interest in Leeds ace Crysencio Summerville, 18-year-old Barcelona talent Marc Guiu and Hoffenheim's Maximilian Beier is yet to advance beyond initial exploratory conversations.

Negotiations remain ongoing with Boca Juniors over the potential signing of 19-year-old centre-back Aaron Anselmino, who has impressed club scouts in South America.

Chelsea have now wrapped up the remaining formalities with Palmeiras regarding the signing of attacker Estevao Willian, who will move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2025 following his 18th birthday.
