Jamie Carragher has been reunited with raucous Borussia Dortmund fans ahead of the Champions League final - and is already on the beers.

The former Liverpool defender fully immersed himself in the atmosphere at the Signal Iduna Park earlier this season ahead of Dortmund’s Champions League semi-final win against Paris Saint-Germain.

He was filmed downing a pint of beer ahead of the game, before he was then given a spot in Dortmund’s Yellow Wall during the match. Carragher was slightly worse for wear come the full-time whistle.

And he has now met up with his Dortmund pals once again ahead of Saturday’s final with Real Madrid at Wembley. His employers CBS have shared a video of Carragher with a beer in hand - and a yellow scarf around his neck.

He also got fully involved with a Dortmund-themed chant before saying: “What have you got now, Madrid, what have you got?”

Carragher will certainly hope that he is feeling slightly better this time around. Asked how he felt after his semi-final antics, the former Red replied: “[I was] Hungover. But I loved it, it was on the bucket list I said that going to Borussia Dortmund as a football fan.

“I have never actually been on the Kop and sang You'll never walk alone but have now done it in the Yellow Wall. To sing You'll Never Walk Alone and be in their with my new family and friends was something I'll never forget. It was brilliant, I absolutely loved it.

“When I go next time I am going exactly there, I know where it is and those people are there week after week. Kaiser and Kaiser,” he added.

Carragher’s previous drinking antics got him in trouble with PSG boss Luis Enrique. The Spaniard refused to do an interview with CBS due to his post-match attire.

“In all seriousness, he's in the sin bin.” Manchester United icon Peter Schmeichel revealed. “Seriously, he's upset every person here. First of all, were supposed to have Luis Enrique.

“And he came in and said, 'hello' and then he left because Jamie was wearing a Dortmund scarf. Then because we took Jadon Sancho in, the press officer from Dortmund got a bit cross with us because that was not on the list. We've been very naughty. And I hope it's been good content.”

Carragher also left fans in stitches for a boozy interview with on-loan Man United star Jadon Sancho after the game. The Kop legend will be a part of CBS' coverage of the final, joined by regular co-pundits Micah Richards and Roy Keane.
