Liverpool players and staff were out and about celebrating at their end-of-season party as boss Jurgen Klopp said goodbye after eight-and-a-half years in charge.

Klopp took charge of his final game at the helm as the Reds comfortably beat Wolves 2-0 at Anfield on Sunday. Following the match, Klopp was loudly serenaded before delivering an emotional speech to the Liverpool supporters, who had stayed to say farewell to the legendary manager.

The German then saved some special words for his players when they headed back to the home dressing room. Klopp expressed his affection for the squad and hailed them for battling hard against Manchester City. After that, the Liverpool players got changed and ventured out on a post-season do.

Speaking about his immediate plans after the game, Klopp said: "I have no clue [what I will do tomorrow]. Packing probably. "I have enough things to do, private life must be planned as well but I’ve been here doing things and probably [wife] Ulla will update me where we go. I have no clue what’s coming up. We have a party tonight."

They returned to the Titanic Hotel - the same place the team set off for the final match of the season - before appearing to start a leaving party for outgoing manager Klopp. Footage showed Klopp dancing alongside former Reds midfielder John Barnes as celebrations continued into the night.

A video shared on social media displayed Klopp moving from side-to-side and dancing along to Barnes' Anfield rap in front of a packed crowd. Klopp, wearing a cap backwards, looked like he thoroughly enjoying himself and making special memories as he brought the curtain down on his time at the Reds.

Klopp was also pictured with UFC superstar Paddy Pimblett, who joined in with the celebrations alongside the rest of the Liverpool squad and staff. Assistant Pep Lijnders was involved just a matter of days after it was confirmed he will become the new manager of Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.

Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish was spotted outside the Titanic Hotel as he grabbed a moment chatting to Pimblett and enjoying his moment with the rest of the team. Reds winger Mohamed Salah also shared a selfie at the venue as he posed with midfielder Harvey Elliott.

Klopp cut an emotional figure as he delivered his post-match speech to the rest of the Liverpool squad. As per footage caught by the club, he said: "I love you, that’s what I can say. The football you are able to play is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t wait to be watching you, developing, making next steps…

"Coming third, I don’t even know yet who became champion," to which a voice replied "City". Klopp continued: "Well, the only ones who stopped them do that was us [in 2019-20], and you can do that again. There might be some people who say [third place] is not enough – I tell you, they don’t have a clue about football.

"Could we have had better moments? Yes, of course, that's always possible. But did we do better than you can usually expect? Oh yes, because it takes longer to become a top team again.

"And you did that [clicks] like this and that’s why expectations go [up gesture] like this and then we couldn’t keep the pace. That’s the problem a little bit."

Arne Slot is expected to take over from Klopp at Liverpool this summer. The Dutchman has done a superb job at Feyenoord but has a monumental task to replace someone as loved as Klopp, who has won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Club World Cup, Super Cup and the Carabao Cup twice.
