Anthony Joshua looks to become a three-time heavyweight world champion when he fights Daniel Dubois.

Joshua came face-to-face with domestic rival Dubois for the first time on Wednesday afternoon as their world title fight was officially announced for September 21. Dubois claimed the interim IBF belt when he KO'd Filip Hrgovic last month and has now been upgraded to the full champion after Oleksandr Usyk vacated his world title and, in doing so, lost his undisputed status.

Dubois has been linked to 'AJ' ever since claiming to have dropped the former two-time world champion when they sparred in 2017. No footage has surfaced of that session but Dubois will look to back up his talk by ruining Joshua's undisputed plans in his big UK return. So here's all you need to know about the fight...

When is Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois and what time will it start in the UK?

Joshua vs Dubois takes place on Saturday, September 21 at Wembley Stadium. The full fight card is yet to be announced but it's expected the fight will get underway around 11pm. This start time is subject to change depending on the results of the undercard.

Unbeaten Hamzah Sheeraz will fight arguably his toughest challenger to date in Tyler Denny.

Joshua Buatsi was set for a clash against fellow Londoner Anthony Yarde but will instead face Scotland's Willy Hutchinson. Saudi advisor Turki Alalshikh's favourite fighter Mark Chamberlain is also back on another Riyadh season card as he fights Josh Padley.

Joshua: "I’m not silly, I know the game. We are in the wild, we are a pack of lions and I’ve had to keep my eyes peeled on Daniel and the rest of the heavyweights. Whoever would have been in his seat, I would be ready to fight in September. The goal is getting through a successful training camp and doing what I need to do, then performing on the night. The shiny stuff comes at later date."

Dubois: "I’m aiming to fight the best and beat the best, AJ has been the king for a long time and on the night I need to become the king-slayer. That’s the goal and mission I have. I’m ready to let my fists do the talking, 100 percent ready to go. I’m going to camp focused and I’m going to train like a beast. Bring it on."
