FatFace is selling a 'gorgeous' tunic style midi dress that's captured shoppers' attention thanks to its summery print, floaty design and handy pockets. The Amy Med Geo Dress is available in two lengths and is described as 'the embodiment of summer'.

Available in sizes six to 24, the dress costs £59 and is made from 100 per cent cotton. Roman is selling a similar Blue Aztec Print Smock Dress for £40, while John Lewis has the Yumi Ikat Print Modal Mini Dress for £50, but both dresses are shorter than the FatFace garment and neither has pockets.

The lightweight FatFace dress has an all-over blue and white geometric print that draws inspiration from the 'sun-kissed shores of Italy'. It's sure to be a summer staple and would be the perfect addition to any holiday wardrobe.

The Amy Med Geo Dress has a V-neckline and two useful side pockets for storing your phone, lipstick or any other essentials. It has a dropped waist, long sleeves with ruched detailing, and an attractive tiered skirt.

FatFace recommends wearing the dress around the pool, pairing it with sandals, sliders or flip-flops. It can, however, also be dressed up with heels or wedges and some jewellery for a sunset dinner.

A second said: "This is a very comfortable fitting dress and will be lovely to wear when we get some nice weather. The colours are lovely and go well with a pair of blue platform sliders - also purchased from FatFace!"

Someone else commented: "Gorgeous floaty summer dress. This looks so much nicer in person. I am six foot and a size 12/14. I purchased the 14 long. It has a subtle texture and is lovely and floaty when on - it is the perfect summer dress."

Another added: "Fab summer dress. Saw this online and just had to have it. Didn't disappoint. Lovely fit, very pleased."
