Amazon Prime members have been left stunned after discovering they can get cheaper Odeon cinema tickets.

If you’re a Prime member, you can get two Odeon tickets for £10, once a month, or recliner tickets for £15 at Odeon Luxe This deal is available Monday to Thursday. The offer was recently shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook, with one person responding: “How do I get this please?”

The person who posted the original comment replied: “Go on your Amazon home page and at top click Prime. Only available if you are a Prime member.” You need to visit Amazon.co.uk/odeon to find your offer code, which you'll need to copy and then use on the Odeon website while booking your tickets.

Odeon cinema prices vary depending on the time of day you visit and your location - but tickets in some London locations can cost £18 per person. Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year. But there are other ways to get cheap cinema tickets. Odeon offers £5 cinema tickets every Monday if you sign up to its free myOdeon membership.

You can also take advantage of a Compare the Meerkat deal, which gives you two for one cinema tickets every Tuesday and Wednesday - just by purchasing a £1 insurance policy. The cheap insurance involves purchasing cover for a one-night UK stay - this then activates Meerkat Movies for a whole year.

You also get various restaurant deals through Meerkat Meals, including two for one on selected food Sunday to Thursday, 25% off your whole bill at restaurants and 50% off certain takeaway pizza. Writing on Facebook, another person shared this tip: "If you are with the AA (not sure which memebership you need but I am gold) but they offer VUE pass and you can get VIP tickets for £4.61 depending on location. Different prices though so might be more or less depending on location. You can also get super saver VUE tickets for £3.54 depending on location. I am Sheffield, other places are other prices though."
