All of Us Strangers will soon make its UK streaming debut as the acclaimed drama heads to Disney+ later this month. Starring Fleabag’s Andrew Scott and Aftersun’s Paul Mescal, the romantic fantasy film will be available to stream with Disney’s new £1.99 a month deal, but you will have to act fast as the offer ends in hours.

Disney’s ‘Epic Movies, Epic Offer’ promotion lets new and returning members join for just £1.99 a month for three months. This means you can stream All of Us Strangers at a bargain price when it premieres on March 20 – but you will have to be quick to lock in the discount before the deal ends at 11.59pm on Thursday, March 14.

As per its official synopsis, All of Us Strangers takes place in contemporary London, as one night in his near-empty tower block, Adam (Scott) has a chance encounter with mysterious neighbour Harry (Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died 30 years before.

Written and directed by English filmmaker Andrew Haigh, the film is an adaptation of 1987 novel Strangers by Japanese author Taichi Yamada. It caused tons of buzz among film fans and earned rave reviews from both critics and general audiences.

Mescal and Scott both earned nominations at the British Independent Film Awards for their performances

The Guardian gave All of Us Strangers five stars, saying the “deeply personal portrait of newfound love and a traumatic past is an emotionally wrenching masterpiece”. Empire also awarded it five stars, hailing it as “a flawless film that reaches for the stars” and praising Scott and Mescal’s “truly magical” chemistry.

All of Us Strangers picked up six BAFTA nominations and won seven British Independent Film Awards including Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay. It currently boasts a near-perfect 96 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

So if you’re keen to see Scott’s award-winning performance, you can sign up to Disney+ today and secure the £1.99 a month deal before All of Us Strangers drops on March 20. Disney+ is also the UK streaming home of hit shows like Shōgun and The Bear, plus Poor Things and Taylor Swift’s new and extended concert movie, The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version).

Scott is also known for roles in BBC comedy Fleabag and James Bond film Spectre
