The Jamaica-born sportstar moved to London with his family when he was 12 and joined Watford at the age of 17 before making his debut for England in 1983 and signing for Liverpool 4 years later. John now works as a commentator and pundit for ESPN and has also had some success in music. He wrote and performed the rap of New Order's number one hit World in Motion.
