Prince Harry and Prince William may never be able to recover their brotherly bond, according to a royal expert.

The relationship between the once-close brothers has been pretty rocky for some time. Following 39-year-old Prince Harry’s decision to step down from his role as a senior working royal, along with his wife, Meghan Markle, he has become increasingly estranged from the Firm, and Prince William in particular.

In his bombshell memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex made a number of claims about the majority of the Royal Family, including William and his wife, Kate Middleton. The Sussexes also painted an unflattering image of life behind the Palace walls in their Netflix docu-series, as well as their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

While a reconciliation between Harry and King Charles looks like it could be on the cards, it is looking increasingly unlikely that the Duke will be able to patch things up with his brother, with an expert claiming there is “too much bad blood”.

Speaking to GB News, Michael Cole explained why he reckons there is “no chance” that Harry and William will mend their differences, placing the blame on the infamous Oprah Winfrey interview, memoir Spare, and Netflix series.

He said: "I don't think there's any chance at all of there a reconciliation with the brothers now or in the foreseeable future,” adding: “There is too much bad blood.”

Cole went on to say that Harry and Meghan “personally attacked” Princess Kate, adding: “William is not going to forgive that.”

During their Oprah Winfrey interview, Meghan claimed that Kate had made her cry days before she married Harry in 2018. She also told Winfrey that despite photographs showing the two sisters-in-law getting along, she felt that in her experience, royal life is "nothing like what it looks like".

In Spare, Harry detailed numerous clashes between himself and his older brother, including an explosive scene in 2019 in which he claimed William grabbed him by the collar and threw him to the floor during an argument about Meghan. The Duke also recounted another altercation between his wife and Kate in which Kate accused Meghan of hurting her feelings when she made a comment about her having "baby brain" following the birth of Prince Louis.
