European ultranationalists and neo-Nazis reacted to the results of the French parliamentary elections' first round on June 30, with the far-right National Rally scoring close to 34%, bringing it closer to the gates of power than ever before. The left-wing New Popular Front (NFP), which is composed of both the moderate Socialist party and the extremist pro-Hamas La France Insoumise (LFI), came in second with about 28%. Both parties celebrated the results, with riots in the streets, mainly by LFI demonstrators. The report provides a sample of the initial reactions of ultranationalists and neo-Nazis from France and Germany, describing riots in Lyon and Paris and analyzing the situation. German ultranationalists expressed glee at the perceived turmoil in France.
