2018 Journal of Imaging  was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
Journal of Imaging adopted a monthly publication schedule.
2019 Journal of Imaging received its first CiteScore of 1.47.
2021 Journal of Imaging was indexed in PubMed and PubMed Central (PMC)—National Library of Medicine (NLM), starting with Volume 4 (Issue 12).
2022 Journal of Imaging was indexed in Ei Compendex (Elsevier), starting with Volume 8 (Issue 7).
2023 Journal of Imaging received its first Impact Factor (3.2).
2024 Journal of Imaging received its 2023 CiteScore (5.9).
