2019 Genealogy was indexed in ERIH Plus (European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences).

2021 Genealogy was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
Genealogy announced the first edition of the Best Paper Award.
Genealogy established the following sections:
  • Family History;
  • Community History;
  • Biographies.
Philosophical Genealogy was discontinued.
2022 Genealogy announced the second edition of the Best Paper Award.
Community History was renamed as Genealogical Communities: Community History, Myths, Cultures.
Genealogy established the following section:
  • Genealogical Communities: Multi-Ethnic, Multi-Racial, and Multi-National Genealogies.
Genealogy was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 6 (Issue 1).
2023 Genealogy received its first Impact Factor (0.8).
