The World Association for Chinese Biomedical Engineers is pleased to host WACBE 2024 (World Congress on Bioengineering, https://www.wacbe2024.org/), a common point for innovators, researchers, and experts from around the world for a groundbreaking exploration of the rapidly evolving field of additive bioengineering. WACBE 2024 promises to be an exceptional platform where cutting-edge research, technological advancements, and creative ideas intersect to drive the future of bioengineering. WACBE 2024 will take place from August 4th to 7th in Hong Kong. The aims and scope of WACBE 2024 encompass a broad range of objectives and areas of interest within the field of additive bioengineering. The key aims and scope of the workshop are as follows: (i) it provides a platform for networking, collaboration, and interdisciplinary discussions; (ii) the scope includes bioengineering, biomaterials, tissue engineering, medical and industrial applications, challenges, ethics, future directions, sustainability, and education; (iii) WACBE 2024 seeks to drive progress in bioengineering, fostering responsible and sustainable development in various fields while promoting ethical and regulatory awareness; and (iv) the overarching goal of WACBE 2024 is to create a dynamic and inclusive platform where participants can engage in meaningful discussions, share their expertise, and contribute to the advancement of additive bioengineering, ultimately driving its real-world applications and impact.
