The smash-hit West End production Tina – The Tina Turner Musical will be heading out on its first ever UK and Ireland tour. Written by Olivier Award and Pulitzer Prize-winner Katori Hall, the musical will stop off at Manchester's Palace Theatre next Christmas.

Beginning in March 2025 at the Leicester Curve, the tour will cover 11 cities including Sunderland, Dublin, Birmingham, Nottingham, and Glasgow amongst others, and will conclude at Leeds Grand Theatre in April 2026. It will also be the Palace Theatre's Christmas show, running from 25 November 2025 to 3 January 2026.

The musical first premiered to critical acclaim on the West End at the Aldwych Theatre over five years ago and is currently booking until 31 May 2025. In total, there have been eight global productions having opened worldwide since 2018, including on Broadway.

The musical tells the story of the legendary Tina Turner, the twelve-time Grammy Award winning Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Set to the pulse-pounding soundtrack of her best-known hits, including The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Private Dancer and River Deep, Mountain High, the show follows the true story of a woman who dared to dream, shatter barriers and defy the bounds to conquer the world against all odds.

The musical which is also dedicated to the memory of Tina Turner who passed away in May, 2023, is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Katori Hall, with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins. The tour will head to the Manchester Palace Theatre from 25 November 2025 to 3 January 2026.

Tickets will go on sale in early March 2024.
