Manchester United youngster Will Fish could now travel to the United States for the first leg of the club's pre-season tour.
Fish, 20, has agreed to rejoin Hibernian on another season-long loan and he was set to remain in Edinburgh after Wednesday's game with Lyon at Murrayfield, but it's understood Erik ten Hag now wants him to travel to the States for the first game against Arsenal.
The centre-back's potential inclusion in the first-team squad for America comes after Rhys Bennett suffered a minor injury in the friendly against Leeds, ruling him out of the tour, and amid doubts over Harry Maguire's future.

The academy graduate spent last season with Hibs, where Fish established himself as a regular in the starting line-up under manager Lee Johnson, who was keen to bring him to Easter Road again. The Manchester Evening News understands Fish is still set to join Hibernian but his return could be delayed until after the tour.
Fish endured a slow start to life in Scotland but took his chance in the first team and started 17 consecutive games in the league before his deal expired.
It's understood interest was high in Fish after his breakthrough campaign, but he was eager to build upon the solid foundations he laid at Hibs.
Fish had been attracting interest from clubs in the Championship and League One, as well as rival clubs in Scotland, including Aberdeen.
The youngster was a late call-up to the pre-season tour of Australia last year.
