Cricket fans of all ages can look forward to a festival of fun and top-class T20 action in July, as Lancashire Cricket and Trafford Council team up to mark the 50th anniversary of the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford.

Trafford LIVE will take place at the Fan Village at Emirates Old Trafford and Trafford Town Hall and gardens on Talbot Road, on Sunday, July 7 from 11.30am to 2pm.

This family-friendly event promises be a brilliant day out, showcasing Trafford's rich heritage in sport, history and the arts with a range of free activities, displays, and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Younger visitors can get involved with interactive games, stilt performers and face-painting, with other activities including live music and DJ, cricket and garden games, and sports and entertainment zones.

Refreshments will be available at the bars and food stalls, and you’ll even have the chance to meet Lancashire Cricket’s lovable mascot, Lanky the giraffe.

At 2.30pm on the big day, attention will turn to the Emirates Old Trafford pitch for what promises to be an exciting Vitality Blast T20 match between Lancashire Lightning and Worcestershire Rapids.

Come and support Lancashire Lightning as they continue their 23-match unbeaten streak in the group stage! Witness sixes, wickets and an unmissable atmosphere at Emirates Old Trafford.
