Tess Daly was left gushing over her husband Vernon Kay as he joined her as her date at the Bafta Television Award 2024. The presenter looked sensational as she hit the red carpet with her man on Sunday (May 12) alongside her fellow stars of the small screen.
Tess, 55, oozed glamour in a one-shoulder dress, by Rachel Gilbert, with its clean white colour setting off her golden glow. She paired the gorgeous dress with a pair of pointed-toe satin heels while she wore her blonde locks in perfect waves and ditched too many accessories, simply sticking with a pair of dazzling hoop earrings.
Vernon, meanwhile, looked suitably dapper as he opted for a classic black tie suit for the special occasion. Taking to Instagram, Strictly Come Dancing star Tess shared a video of the pair posing before hitting the red carpet and said: "BAFTA’S with my handsome date @vernonkay @bafta."

And it didn't take long for the compliments to come flooding in. @lellis_tab said: "You both look sensational. Wow." @sylvimill commented: "You both look beautiful." @dancedanceladymp wrote: "Gorgeous couple."

Meanwhile, Vernon also prompted plenty of complimentary comments as he shared a beaming snap of the pair, to which Tess also gushed: "He scrubs up well," with a love heart eyes emoji and a red love heart.
She also captured a moment between BBC Radio 2 host Vernon and her Strictly wing woman Claudia Winkleman which she shared to her Instagram Story. It showed her husband and their friend deep in an animated conversation as Tess said: "Putting the world to rights [crying laughing emoji] @vernonkay @claudiawinkle."
Later, Tess and Claudia were seen alongside their Strictly team after the show picked up the prestigious gong for Entertainment. Beaming with their awards, a delighted Tess typed: ""WE WON best Entertainment Show. Thank you to @bafta for this incredible acknowledgement of what a production @bbcstrictly is.
"This one is for everyone that tunes in at home and our brilliant Strictly team who work SO hard with so much LOVE. Woohooo! We’re celebrating our 20th year of Strictly this year and this is the perfect present! So grateful."
