Officers are searching for a 56-year-old man who last seen in Piccadilly Gardens almost a week ago. West Yorkshire Police says David Dolan-Davis has not been seen since Saturday (August 5).

Mr Dolan-Davis, from Calderdale in West Yorkshire, is known to have links to Manchester. An urgent appeal to find him has been released today (Friday) and anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police in Calderdale are appealing for information to locate David Dolan-Davis who has been reported missing. David, aged 56 was last seen in Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester on Saturday, August 5 and has not been seen since.

"He has links to Sowerby Bridge and Manchester. He is described as a white male, 6ft 1ins, large build, short brown hair, with facial hair, blue eyes, and is known to wear glasses.

"He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and blue jeans. Anyone who believes they may have seen David or anyone with information regarding his current whereabouts is asked to contact police via 101LiveChat or by calling 101 quoting reference 1225 of August 9."
