When looking for beauty hacks, Amazon can always be trusted to stock trending items at affordable prices. If you've ever seen 'behind the scenes' pictures of celebrities before award shows, then you might have noticed under-eye patches as a common theme.

I found the ones that Jessica Alba, in particular, loves using and they are currently on offer at Amazon. The Grace & Stella Energising Eye Masks are now £12.71, reduced from £17.50.

The masks contain "powerful cooling and soothing properties" that de-puff "even the worst of eye bags". With hyaluronic acid and hydrolysed vegetable protein to "plump" the skin and "refine the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles", the brand said they are perfect to combat late nights and early mornings.

One customer said: "These work a bit of magic. This is the first of this kind of product I have tried and was pleasantly surprised at visible results. They are comfortable while on, and really seem to soothe and smooth the delicate skin under the eyes. Packaging is excellent, and I'd definitely recommend these."

Another added: "These actually work! I bought these after seeing the reviews and they were on offer. I thought they would be a nice relaxing addition to my skincare regime but they're actually amazing. You can see the difference as soon as you remove them. The skin under my eyes look and feel smoother. Not bad for a 40 something always tired woman!"

One reviewer said: "Works brilliant. I suffer with dry skin round the eyes. Since using these two or three times a week, problem gone! Skin is way softer, more moisturised and I absolutely love them. Have ordered again."

However, one customer claimed the results don't last for long adding: "I saw the instant result after using it. It brightens my dark circle and moisturizes the skins. However, the result doesn't last for very long time. But thinking about the price, it's still worth it."

Alternatively, Pixi sell a whole range of highly-rated eye products, and they are available at Boots. For example, the DetoxifEYE patches (£22) for depuffing or the FortifEYE patches (£22) for firming. Or, you can try the celebrity favourite here.
