Enter: Hassan CHREIM, PhD and magnetic field. 🦸♂️ Hassan used the Electromagnetic Engineer and the Structural Mechanics Engineer Roles on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Here's his explanation. ⬇️ In this simulation, a coil is wrapped around a soda can and fed with a 2000-amp Gaussian pulse current (up to 1.5 KHz). The magnetic field induces a current on the aluminum Can (Faraday Law), and thus, a Lorentz force is developed on the can, which is pointing inwards, according to Flemming's right-hand rule.
