Cancer is one of the most difficult journeys a person can face, and financial worries should not add to the burden. Board Member Spotlight: Jill M. DeSimone Meet Jill DeSimone, FCS Foundation Board Member. As a senior pharmaceutical executive, Jill DeSimone has built a reputation for leading large-scale global business transformations. She has leveraged her 40 years of expertise as a transformational leader to drive organizations forward. Prior to her retirement in 2022, Jill was President, U.S. Oncology at Merck, where she led the launch of the U.S. Oncology business, including Keytruda. Today, Jill is on the board of 4 companies: Praxis Precision Medicine, Affini-T Therapeutics, Oncternal Therapeutics and iTeos Therapeutics. She is also on the board of Swim Across America, a non profit focusing on cancer research. Prior to joining the board at FCSF, she was on non profit boards including American Lung cancer of New Jersey and Dress for Success; she also served as Board Advisor for the Children’s Health Fund. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Northeastern University and completed a fellowship with The Wharton School.
