West Suburban Philanthropic Network's 2023 Philanthropic Service Club of the Year The Executive Women's Council of the Northern Illinois Food Bank is a network of compassionate and dedicated women whose mission is to work in partnership with the Food Bank by donating time, food and funds through an annual fundraising event and other initiatives so everyone in Northern Illinois can have the food and resources they need to thrive. Our hallmark fundraising event is A Cup of Hope, an afternoon tea that features a silent auction, raffle, entertainment and more.

A chance to support Northern Illinois Food Bank, get some cardio in and enjoy some lovely spring weather all at the same time? They didn’t have to ask us twice. EWC members gladly turned out for the recent Fight Hunger 5K. This year’s run/walk turned out to be the Food Bank’s biggest yet, with more than 1,500 participants and $282,000 raised – that equates to more than $2.2 million in groceries for neighbors in need across northern Illinois!
