Udemy's Global Learning Fair 2021

Last month, Udemates gathered for one of our beloved traditions, the Global Learning Fair. We took advantage of being an entirely virtual workforce at the time and hosted a round-the-clock Learning Fair, so Udemates from all over the world could participate, no matter which time zone they were tuning in from.

Over a period of 24 hours, Udemates attended sessions ranging from How To Make Authentic Baklava, to Oven-Baked Pottery, to Zumba. While some sessions were taught by our fellow Udemates, we were lucky enough to be joined by some Udemy instructors, too.

• Shubranshu Bhandoh, in Australia, who taught us his delicious recipe for Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. 
• Felix Harder, in Germany, who led us through a fun (albeit sweaty) workout.
• Ann Martin, in Denver, who introduced to us the history and uses of singing bowls, and led us though a sound meditation.
• Matthew McGurk, in the UK, who let us in on a few magician secrets so we could amaze our own friends and family.
