TIPS FOR YOUR INTERVIEW

TIPS FOR YOUR INTERVIEW

How to Survive a Recruiter's Questions

Before you go to a job interview, the best thing you can do is to prepare yourself and

anticipate some answers to the questions that the recruiter will surely ask you.

Remember that improvising can make you make mistakes.Responding safely

and frankly will surely give you many more points in the race

to get the job you are looking for.

Here are our suggestions:

Tell me about you ?

You should be prepared to talk about two minutes about your best professional

attributes and also the personalities that may interest a company. Start by

talking about your academic preparation and the qualities you like in your

field of study. Be logical and linear, remember that you are

evaluating your ability to communicate.

- Why are you leaving your current job?

This is a fundamental question. Never speak badly about the companies for

which you have worked; Instead, mention your desire to grow or expand

your professional horizons.

- What do you consider to be your greatest achievement or the most significant?

Get ready to sell the best of yourself. In a simple answer that does not exceed

two minutes, talk to your recruiter about how your work has brought value to

your companies, the important decisions you have made and the joint tasks

that have worked well. Show that you are a committed employee, with

goals and that you can overcome obstacles.

- Why do you think you're qualified for the position?

Surely you have already investigated about the company and the position for which you apply so choose 2 or 3 qualities of yours that are relevant and comment them. Talk about your technical skills, your experience or about some personal success that is related.

- What are your strengths?

Take an introspective trip and look for those virtues that make you stand out as an employee or in your work area. Do not be shy or modest, what a recruiter looks for with this question is that you demonstrate security and initiative.

- What are your weaknesses?

One thing a recruiter appreciates a lot is not only frankness but an employee's ability to learn from their mistakes. You are not a perfect being but your willingness to improve will make you a reliable candidate.

- Why should we hire you?

This is your chance to get the job so concentrate on the answer and leave the arrogance aside. Be analytical, organized and forceful; Look for the key points of the position and the company and talk about them and how your skills will add value to the position you aspire to. It offers that 'extra' that no one else could contribute.

Impunctual, nervous, rude?

What you should never do in a job interview

Being late, interrupting with your cell phone, being accompanied and not dominating your nerves can be the mistakes that leave you without the opportunity to access a new job.

In the search for a new job, each person has their own strategies to convey the best of themselves when faced with a job interview. However, beyond what we must do to make it work effectively, the most important thing is to take into account what we must NOT do under any circumstances and that can spoil our chance to get the position we want.

Here is a list of common mistakes we should avoid when introducing ourselves to an interview with the recruiter:

- To be late. You still do not have the job but you already gave a bad image of yourself. Unpunctuality only shows your lack of commitment. Calculate unforeseen events that may arise in your journey and try to reach your interview at least 10 minutes before the appointment.

- Go disarranged or in inappropriate attire. When you go to the interview investigate a little about the company image and arrange yourself according to it and the position you request. It is not always necessary to dress formal but you should always show yourself with a clean and professional image.

- Accompanied. Do not fall into the error of being accompanied by friends, family or one of your parents; You will only demonstrate insecurity and the inability to make decisions for yourself.

- Turn off your cell phone. The moment you go to a job interview you must be clear that your only priority is to get the job you want, so forget the outside world and turn off your cell phone or anything else that could interrupt your conversation and spoil your possible Recruitment

- Do not dominate your nerves. Body language is super important in an interview because it denotes the safety and reliability of a candidate so you must learn to master your nerves and avoid negative expressions such as biting your nails, moving too much, playing with the ballpoint pen, etc.

Count the time. Remember that your priority is to get the job so forget about watching the clock as you will only show anxiety and rush to do other things. Relax and dedicate to your interview as long as necessary.

- Be negative. If the position is not exactly what you were looking for or if there are things that you disagree with, do not be discouraged or show discomfort or scorn. On the contrary, try to be empathetic and positive. It also values if what you do not like is more important than the benefits that can bring you.

- Focus on the economic. Unless asked, the first interview is not the most appropriate time to negotiate salary and benefits so be patient and do not push that issue. If you must ask, do it but discreetly and avoid looking anxious.

- Be rude or unfriendly. Never take a job interview to make a statement or make a complaint. Thank you for the opportunity to consider yourself for a recruitment and always be kind.

Start the day with good attitude and stay positive because in Jobomas you can find your ideal job right now. Remember that your future job is the key to your development and that here we have thousands of opportunities for you.
