Recent rules for the safety of Artificial Intelligence consumers.

Recent rules for the safety of Artificial Intelligence consumers.

The pandemic accelerated digital transformation in companies and artificial intelligence came further advance technology within organizations. I can say that this movement will last for decades.

For a business to maintain excellent management, it must invest in products, software, consultancy and infrastructure. Only then will it be able to continue growing.

A good consultancy, and I can say this after so many years working in the area, must 100% support partner companies in their digital transformation and following tendencies.

Once again I want to discuss about the importance of artificial intelligence, when used responsibly and the necessary regulations as well. Recently, United States President Joe Biden took steps to increase the safety of AI consumers.

The decree establishes parameters and companies such as OpenAI , Alphabet Inc. and Meta Facebook have already voluntarily agreed to install watermarks in content generated by this technology, for example.

The US mesures includes, among others:

  • Creating new safety and security standards for AI, including measures that require AI companies to share safety test results with the federal government
  • Protecting consumer privacy, by creating guidelines that agencies can use to evaluate privacy techniques used in AI
  • Creating a programme to evaluate potentially harmful AI-related healthcare practices and creating resources on how educators can responsibly use AI tools
  • Working with international partners to implement AI standards around the world.

In Brazil, the debate is progressing in leaps and bounds and a few days ago, senators and experts argued that the use of this technology should focus on equal human rights.

Let's wait for the next chapters, but the progress of other countries on the subject also shows us how necessary artificial intelligence is seen in the future.
