Putting Faith in Affordable Housing

Did you know that many of America’s houses of worship are also potential providers of affordable housing?

Faith-based institutions often own land suitable to build low-income housing, which also fits quite neatly into a religious institution’s mission and the nation’s needs.. Yet many with a stake in housing know little or nothing about this valuable option.

The not-for-profit @NHPFoundation, in partnership with other experts in the affordable and faith- based housing industry convened a panel to shed light on this this under-reported resource.
