PalFish Awarded “The Most Popular Language Learning APP” at EdTech Asia Summit 2022

EdTech Asia held its 6th annual summit in Singapore on October 27-28, it was the first in-person event since 2019. More than 500 senior-level business and impact stakeholders from 40 countries convened across 70 expert-led sessions and roundtables to discuss the future of education and work. The summit also acknowledged leaders in the EdTech sector with the EdTech Asia Awards. Started in 2016, the awards have identified many of the key contributors to innovation, business and impact in the EdTech and education sectors throughout Asia from early years, K-12, higher education, professional development and lifelong learning.


The Most Popular Language Learning App (K-12 Category) was awarded to PalFish. Widely recognized for PalFish’s leading artificial intelligence-enhanced reading app, PalFish has established itself as the dominant player in the realm of picture book reading for children. Upon receiving the award, Mr. Xiao Li, Head of Global Business of PalFish said, "We are honoured to receive this award. Xiao Li gave the keynote speech on language learning and global interconnectedness


When it came to the significance of reading for children, Mr. Xiao Li mentioned, “...through reading, children acquire new knowledge and gradually establish a more sophisticated worldview. Reading helps children better integrate into the cross-cultural environment, communicate and work with each other more effectively. Hence, a proper and pleasant reading experience is essential in constantly attracting children and helping them obtain new knowledge, and staying joyful. PalFish has been trying hard to make sure of it.”


Mr. Li also shared various corporate social responsibility activities PalFish has initiated and committed to over the years, including digital learning materials donation, early childhood development panels and workshops, education fieldwork with the government, picture book exhibitions, and language and culture symposiums, etc.


PalFish tries to empower more children, parents and teachers with the most cutting-edge ed-techs and engaging learning solutions. By doing so, PalFish aims to make great education accessible around the globe.
